That was conceivably the most painful thing I've ever done. I was around for so much of her art. I was around for so much of the pain. I miss her. And I think that's why it hurt so much to do it. She gave me inspiration every day that we were in school together. Both in art and in life. She made me a big part of who I am today. I love my sister, there is no doubt of that. And I miss her terribly, but I think she knows that. Lord knows I'm going to have to draw or write now... I can't think of any other way to get the pain out. Here's to you Hals, and the effect you had on all of us love.

So just so everyone knows, I've been MIA. Just in case you've not figured it out. Lots has happened in my life - it's been rough. I'm not going into detail about it in my journal. I figure if you care enough, you'll send me a note or give me a call. Lots has happened with my best friend, Haley, as well. Most of you know her as Bliss. She is my favorite artist ever. Always will be. She asked me to do her a very special favor today - as it pains her to do it herself. The bad part is that it pains me to do it for her as well. Wow. SO much has happened with life in general since last March. I really need to stop updating on such an irregular basis, however, life will make that a little hard over the months to come. I'm going to be very brief. And make a list... they are faster. 1. I passed my Divemaster tests! And I'm taking my IDC in April. 2. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Quincy University! I'm an alum! 3. I'm in a bowling league. Sadly, my average is only 125-ish right now. 4. I have officially moved to Arkansas. Down here for a long time now... sweet.
